Dr. Stockslager grew up in Atlanta attending Marist High School and went on to complete his Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of the South in 1976. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Emory University School of Dentistry in 1981. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Stockslager served three years in the United States Public Health Corps in Plains, GA with President Jimmy Carter and family as part of his practice. Dr. Stockslager is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Georgia Dental Association, International Association of Orthodontists, and ITI. Dr. Stockslager has been in practice in Macon since 1984, and is married with two daughters. He likes to spend his free time reading and coaching swimming with Swim Macon, a team he started when he first came to Macon.
