Born in Tainan, Taiwan, Dr. John Kuo moved to Chicago at the age of one. After short stays in Chicago, Newark, and Chattanooga, his family moved to Albany, Georgia in 1978. He attended and graduated from Westover High School in 1990, and then graduated from Duke University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Kuo received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia, School of Dentistry in 2001.
After graduating from dental school, Dr. Kuo began work at the dental clinic in the Margaret J. Weston Medical Center in Clearwater, SC. In 2003, he relocated to Talahina, Oklahoma to work at the dental clinic in the Choctaw Nation Hospital. In 2006, Dr. Kuo moved to Macon to enter private practice and join the staff at North Macon Dental Associates.
Dr. Kuo is an active member of the Central District Dental Society, Georgia Dental Association and American Dental Association. He is also a member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. Dr. Kuo enjoys spending time with his son and daughter and wife Kimberly. He also enjoys reading, running and cheering for Duke basketball.
